Satyricon: perfect sea view

Búzios is also a paradise when it comes to good food, bringing together French, Italian, Japanese, Thai restaurants... In each one, flavors and typical delights for the most demanding and varied palates. The reason for the diversity is the large number of foreigners who came to spend a few days in the resort, fell in love and stayed here. From their origins, they brought the spices and secrets that enhance the dishes based on seafood – fish are the flagship of the local cuisine, after all, Búzios emerged as a fishing village and is surrounded by beaches on all sides. .

At dinner time, the traditional address for restaurants is Rua das Pedras and its continuation - Orla Bardot, a beautiful stretch that leads to Praia dos Ossos, birthplace of the town of Búzios. A tip over there is the trendy  Joe's Bar  which, despite its name, is an authentic Búzios-style restaurant. Dishes are served on tables covered with colorful tablecloths, while candles ensure not only lighting, but also coziness. From the kitchen come risottos such as shrimp with brie, asparagus and truffle oil; and fish – especially the grouper with a mix of mushrooms -, in addition to fresh pasta and meat. Close by is the intimate  BZ , from the same owners of Bar do Zé and with a Mediterranean menu signed by the same chef.

the traditional  satyricon  is the tip for those who enjoy the freshest seafood - fish and crustaceans are "caught" on the spot, in the aquariums that decorate the house facing Armação beach. If your preference is for a pizza, just change the salon - the pizzeria  capricious  works in the same environment as Satyricon. Famous in Rio, the pastas follow Italian standards and are made in a wood-fired oven with selected ingredients.

Orla Bardot was also the address chosen by Italian chef Danio Braga to set up the  Sollar Buzios . The restaurant operates in a beautiful 18th century house that belonged to former president JK. Inspired by the "Mozzarella Bar" concept, the menu favors Italian dishes based on the delicacy, always produced in an artisanal way. Highlight for the Mozzarella burrata Risotto “macchiato with amatriciana sugo” and Pappardelle with smoked surubim sauce, buffalo ricotta and pistachio pesto. Nearby is the pizzeria and grill.  Peixe Vivo , installed on a plot above the sea. There, the round dishes made in a wood-fired oven and the Mediterranean recipes find a strong competitor: the beautiful view of Armação beach.

Merci beaucoup!
